About the Event
The Financing for Development (FfD) agenda has moved to the top of wider political agendas following the COVID 19 pandemic. Most governments are now focusing on promoting economic recovery. “Building back better” means that the “Financing for Development” agenda will require renewed political attention. Forus members currently work on FfD issues as wide-ranging as ODA (Official Development Assistance), debt-relief and the future of financing for civil society. This session will allow the network and its members to identify the key advocacy messages to be shared at the “Finance in Common” event to be hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron in November 2020.
