About the Event
How can we use accountability to deepen trust within a network, and build “solidarity in action”? This interactive session will include Forus members sharing their experiences of using the Istanbul Principles, and reflecting on challenges to being accountable, from the personal to the institutional. Elisa Lopez from The Global Standard Secretariat hosted by Accountable Now will illustrate how Dynamic Accountability remains more relevant than ever for civil society’ connections. To wrap up, participants will be guided participants to use the Rendir app for networks for a quick accountability self-assessment vis a vis the Global Standard. The session will end with a panel discussion about how accountability can be used to build trust within networks, when members cannot meet face to face.
